The Lunar Agriculture Technical Committee investigates requirements for and production of locally-grown food crops. This includes investigating the required diet for inhabitants, both crew and vistors; deciding which crops should be grown and what foodstuffs should be imported; investigating the requirements for growing food crops in space; and investigating designs for greenhouses suitable for lunar use.
