Clothing on the Moon

Shipping costs being what they are, people in the moon won't want to import all their clothes from Earth. That means they will need a robust textiles and clothing industry.

Will lunar clothing be made of glass fibers? What will it take to produce cotton, wool, or even synthetic fabrics? What machines do we need to process fibers into thread and yarn and cloth? Once we have cloth, what do we need to produce finished clothing? What kinds of clothing will people in the moon want to wear, and what are these clothes made of? How large will the lunar clothing industry be -- much clothing do we need to keep people comfortable and happy? Can we make recyclable clothing, so that we don't create solid waste as clothes wear out or go out of style?
