What are the project's goals?

The goals of the Artemis Project are to:

  1. Build a permanent, self-supporting lunar community.

  2. Exploit lunar resources for profit.

  3. Create an economic environment where regular commercial space flight between the earth and moon is financially viable.

It's as simple as that: no lofty causes, no political agenda; just get to the moon and stay there. What you do once we've got there is up to you.

The first Artemis Project manned space flight places a permanent exploration base on the moon. Explorer-class commercial flights will begin soon after the lunar base is established, and within ten years first-class passenger transportation will be available.
