The Challenger Learning Centre, claimed as the first of its kind outside the United States, has been opened in Leicester, UK.  The learning center recreates a Nasa-style mission control center and the interior of a space station.

Perceptual Robotics, Inc. (PRI), a leader in Telepresence technology, now brings even more of outer space to cyberspace.  Cameras, which can be viewed and controlled from personal computers on the Internet, have been installed at several locations within NASA.  All that's needed to control one of these cameras is a personal computer with a web browser and an Internet connection.  The cameras can be accessed from either of these URLs: http://hubble.gsfc.nasa.gov or http://www.perceptualrobotics.com/live.
