Robert T. Bigelow Pledges $500 million for Developement of Translunar Cruise Ship

Bigelow Aerospace

Recently the first U.S. Space Tourism Conference was held in Washington D.C.  During this conference hotel magnate Robert T. Bigelow, pledged $500 million of his own money to fund the development of Translunar Cruise ships.
Mr. Bigelow, like most space enthusiasts, believes that in 10 to 20 years ordinary people will be able to experience space travel.  "People have compared where we are today" in the aerospace industry "to the 1800s in the shipping industry," said Mr. Bigelow, owner of Budget Suites of America and Bigelow Aerospace.  "The craft that's our ultimate vision will take 100 guests and 50 crew" on a six-day cruise to the moon.
