Gregory Bennett Appointed President of Artemis Society International

On Wednesday, February 24, 1999 Artemis Society International entered a new era when the ASI Board of Directors appointed Gregory Bennett as the new President of ASI.

Greg is the founder of the Artemis Project. He will continue to serve as chairman of the board and president of The Lunar Resources Company, chairman of the Artemis Project Board of Advisors, and director of the Artemis Society International's Office of Space Flight. Greg has more than 25 years of experience in aerospace engineering, with responsibilities ranging from management to detailed technical analysis. He is the founder of several successful non-profit organizations (including the Artemis Society), and writes a science fiction writer.

Greg replaces outgoing president, Boise Pearson, who stepped down from his position citing time constraints from a growing family, career advancement, and graduate school. Boise will continue as Chairman of the ASI Board of Directors.

For more information about Greg, see his ASI biography.
