The Artemis Project and Artemis Society International will be represented at LoneStarCon 2, the 1997 Worldcon. Look for our booth and say hello. We'll be happy to tell you about the Project and how you can help! We'll have lots of nifty stuff for sale, too! Gregory Bennett, the Founder, Thomas K. Martin, author and contact for The Artemis Society of Dallas, and Ian Randal Strock, Editor of Artemis Magazine will be give a panel discussion entitled Artemis Project: Your ticket to the Moon at Convention Center Centro Thursday 4:00PM-5:50PM Greg will also be panelized at Government's Role in Space where the question will be Does government funding accelerate or retard our space occupation?. This panel will be in the Convention Center Room 207 Friday 5:00PM-5:50PM and will also include Michael F. Flynn, Karen Mermel, Jerry Pournelle, and Allen Steele. A panel entitled International space station will also feature Gregory Bennett, Marianne J. Dyson, Al Jackson, Rick Kolker, and Ian Randal Strock in the Convention Center Room 206 Saturday 3:00PM-3:50PM. Ian Randal Strock will appear for a panel called Friends Don't Let Friends Start Magazines in the Convention Center Room 207 Saturday 1:00PM-1:50PM with Kent Brewster, Algis Budrys, Craig E. Engler, Ken Jenks, Charles C. Ryan, and David Truesdale. Thomas K. Martin will appear on a panel called Magical Realism: Fantasy from the Other Side of the Border in Convention Center Room 208 Friday 10:00AM-10:50AM with Ellen Datlow, and Mary Rosenblum. You can also find Thomas K. Martin on the panel Finding Time to Write in Convention Center Fiesta Sec. B Monday 10:00AM-10:50AM with Michael Capobianco, Phyllis Eisenstein, and Frederik Pohl.
