This issue marks the first anniversary of our joint publication of Pleiades and Moon Miners' Manifesto. For ten years now, Moon Miners' Manifesto has provided its readers with information, insight, and creative thinking about the possibilities for Lunar colonization. Artemis Society International is proud to provide our members access to the quality material published in MMM, and to contribute to the Lunar community at large. We hope you have enjoyed the combination, and look forward to seeing it in your mailbox each month. We are very interested in your feedback, so that we can continue to improve our joint publication. As you reflect on the past year of our collaboration with Moon Miners' Manifesto, take a moment to evaluate your membership in ASI, and give careful consideration to renewing your membership for the coming years. We are striving to make your dream of lunar colonization a reality, and want to provide a way for you to help make it happen. Let us know how we are doing, and what we can do to improve your membership in ASI. We've started to mail membership renewal notices as memberships expire and will continue to do so each month. In the interests of fighting our rising costs and keeping membership dues low, we've decided to mail only one renewal notice to each member, so don't let it slip by!
You can now keep track of your membership expiration date by watching your MMM/Pleiades mailing label. The upper right hand corner of your mailing label contains the number of the last issue of MMM/Pleiades associated with your membership expiration date. Keep an eye on that label, and renew early, so you don't miss out on a single issue! Remember that membership dues are $25/year until the end of 1996, and then increase to $35/year. Take advantage of the opportunity to renew at current rates for future years by paying for several years at once. Any renewal for 20 years from the date of renewal will be considered a lifetime membership.
