SSTO Concept Design PT Membership

The SSTO Concept Design Project Team is responsible for determining and detailing a passenger SSTO conceptual design. This entails designing mission architecture, cost, detailed specifications and requirements, and other related tasks. Also, it is important to convey the status and results of the SSTO Concept Design Project Team to other Technical Committees working on related issues, like the Cislunar Space Traffic Model, Lunar Tourism, etc.

• Members - These are people who are actively involved in the various tasks of the SSTO PT. They are doing the actual work of the Project Team itself.

• Reps - Because the activities of the SSTO Project Team impact many other areas of the Artemis Project, it is important that strong lines of communication exist between all groups. To provide those lines of communication, we hope to have at least one person from every relevant Technical Committee belong to the SSTO Project Team as a Representative of that Technical Committee. Reps are responsible for keeping their Technical Committee informed of activities in the SSTO Concept Design Project Team and relay requests from their Technical Committee to the SSTO team. Reps may also be active Members of the SSTO Projct Team if they are active in both committees.

• Observers - Not considered official members of the SSTO team, observers are people who want to stay informed of what goes on in the SSTO Concept Design Project Team, usually by being included in the SPTC mailing list or related information feeds.
