Mission Operations

Once the spacecraft are designed and built, we have to operate them. Getting ready for lunar mission operations requires extensive advanced planning and development of the teams and facilities we need to actually conduct the mission.

You will find associated topics elsewhere in the Artemis Data Book: Mission Control Facilities, Ground Support (also known as "Mission Control"), Flight Crew Training, and Mission Support Functions.

This section of the Artemis Data Book integrates these functions and lays out the mission operations plans, flight rules, and other documentation required to conduct a mission to the moon.
