Power Systems Manufacturing

The lunar community will need a lot of electrical power. With an abundance of raw materials available in the moon, it makes sense to use local materials to manufacture the systems that generate and distribute power, instead of importing heavy power-generating equipment from Earth. The moon also might become the Solar System's leading producer of electrical power systems for satellites and other spacecraft.

In this section of the Artemis Data book we identify the power generating needs for the moon and the moon's customers elsewhere throughout the Solar System, and define the infrastructure we need to create the equipment that generates the power and distributes it around the moon.
