Religion

Religion has played a significant role in the human experience since before the dawn of history. We have even named the Artemis Project in honor of the goddess whose temple at Ephesus was the most magnificent of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. We can reasonably expect people to carry their beliefs and wonder about the supernatural to the moon and beyond. Our analysis of the lunar economy would be incomplete without it.

We can only speculate about what forms of religion we will see among citizens of the moon in times to come, but we can at least guess at the economic costs the lunar community must bear in their practice of religion and in their support of religious institutions.
